Known to the world as Turkish delight, lokum has been produced in Turkey since the 15th century, but it was in the 19th century that Haci Bekir became famous in the world of confectionery when the company began producing their lokum using starch and refined sugar.
Haci Bekir produces many varieties and flavours of lokum: plain, rose, pistachio, hazelnut, walnut, almond, coconut and almond, cream, cream with cinnamon (winter season), mint, mastic, fruit flavoured (sourcherry, strawberry, orange, apricot, lemon) date, cinnamon, ginger, clove and coffee. These are all available in 200, 250, 325 , 500 , 1000 and 5000 gr. boxes. |
